Changes

It is amazing to me how a little person can change so much in just nine short months. Paxton has made so many changes just in the past week. Just a few things that our little buddy can do now...

1. He can talk, babble, sing, and scream.

2. He loves standing up and playing with his toys.

3. He cannot crawl yet but finds ways to get around.

4. He loves to hold your fingers and walk around.

5. He loves turning the pages on books.

6. Some of his favorite toys are cell phones, computers, and glasses.

7. He can now eat all kinds of soild foods.

8. We are beginning to teach him simple baby signs

9. Being outside makes him very happy.

10. He loves his mommy and daddy the most.

Time Flies

Dear Paxton Micheal,

Before you go from being Mommy's little buddy to Mommy's little man I want to take time and remember the last eight months of your life. You have changed so much just in the past weeks that it scares me that in just a few months you are not going to be my baby any longer. This coming Saturday will mark your eight month birthday and for some reason I am having a harder time with this then I ever thought. Its silly I know but if I could have it my way I would stop time in its tracks right now. I love how you are right now. The big smile that is always on your face when you see anyone. The way you love your mommy and daddy more then anyone else in the whole world but is still so willing to love on anyone else. How you will sit on the floor and play by yourself for a period of time. How you want so badly to be mobile but is willing to settle with rolling all over the floors. Watching you discover the world around you. The way that being outside can change your mode in a instance. How the simple things like going on walks around our neighborhood is your favorite time of the day. How you can swing at the park for hours or until daddy gets bored of pushing you. Watching you eat finger food for the first time and making silly faces when you don't like it. Laughing at nothing when you have the giggles. When we ask for a kiss you always open your mouth as wide as it goes and kiss us right on the cheek. When you hear the song "The Wheels on the Bus" you get quite and listen even when you are screaming. How your favorite bedtime song is "You are My Sunshine." The way you wake up with a huge smile on your face. Knowing that very soon we will have to get rid of your paci. How after your afternoon nap all you want is to held or taken outside. How right now as I am writing you this letter you are waking up from a very short morning nap. Paxton Mommy love you more each and every day. I am so looking forward to being your mother for the rest of my life. Thank you for being you!

Love,

Mommy
